asmusic or sports?

My son was trying to book a trip and the only choice was music or sports. He has been to sports a few times, but that was at least 7 or 8 yrs. ago. I've heard some people say Sports is looking rundown. But the upside is being the first stop for buses. What do you think?

Re: asmusic or sports?

We're staying at Sports in October because it's the only value that I've not stayed at before. My sister and her DH stayed there on their honeymoon and loved it. Since they are the same hotel with different theming, I'd just tell him to pick whichever theme appeals most to his family.

AS Sports is fine I'm sure. Just keep in mind that sports and music are the ones you are most likely to find large groups like schools and cheerleaders.

I love all the All-Stars. It's really hard for me to pick a favorite. Wherever he stays, I'm sure it'll be great. Since Sports has the bus stop bonus, that sounds like a good pick to me. :)

Re: asmusic or sports?

Of all three All Stars, we have only stayed at the Sports. It did not look run down at all to us. We were really pleased with it. For the bus service alone, that is the only one we would choose. No matter how crowded it is, you will always get a seat because that is the first stop. Each All Star usually has it's own bus on the way back from the parks. We really liked it. Both my DS and DH are sports nuts though.

Re: asmusic or sports?

My son decided to go with music only because he was at sports several times. But after hearing your comments, I sort of wished he had booked the pkg. at sports. They will be driving down, so I guess if the buses bother them that much, they can drive to the parks. My DH and I were at music in 03, but my thought is, we spent so little time in the room, the theme really doesn't matter.

ASMu is a lot of fun. it's very festive and still attracts the kids with all the decor and especially the pools will get their attention: one with the three callebreos (sp? you know who i'm talking about) and one with ariel and flounder. we haven't stayed at ASports yet. that's probably be in a future trip. who knows. but ASMu is a lot of fun!
