was going 1 week at moderate now i am 2 weeks at value!!!
yup we change our dates. we are now going from the 5-19 dec 05. we had a choice to go 1 week at moderate and do everything real quick or 2 weeks at value so we took the value so we can actually relax and enjoy it.
wich brings me to my question. if ur not at the park what is there to do around disney and orlando. she said she wants to see sea world ok how do i do that??!?! btw it cost the same amount for 2 weeks as it did for 1 so why not. once again tks nick |

At that time of the year it is a lot of fun to visit all of the other resorts. They are all decorated for Christmas, and all different. At the Grand Floridian there is a Gingerbread house that is so big it is used to sell gingerbread items. Most of the other resorts have huge gingerbread displays made by the chefs at each resort. They have a contest among the chefs.

Welcome to DC. Lucky you for the extra week!
Like Fred said, you can easily spend a day touring the other resorts (even if it isn't Christmas). Sea World is a very nice place to visit. Buy your tickets on-line in advance at their website and save $$$. You can always take a cab from your resort to Sea World if you don't have a car. Another fun 1/2 day attraction is Gatorland. My kids liked it better than Sea World. As for Disney. You have the Waterparks, minature golfing, DownTown Disney shopping, golf, fishing, there are horse rides at the campgrounds, a nightly campfire sing along with Chip & Dale, and so much more. Try this link: http://www.allearsnet.com/btp/beyond.htm for a HUGE listing of "Beyond the Parks" activities.

How fun! I would love to do two full weeks at WDW. Maybe when I win the lottery :)

You are gonna have so much fun ! Lucky you! There is plenty to keep you occupied while you're there. Like Cavey said, just go to allears and you can find tons of info. Oh yeah, and by the way, WELCOME TO DC !!!!!

I think Pop Century is the best choice you can make out of the Values. It is newer than the All-Stars, so Disney has had the chance to improve on all the mistakes they made with the others.
Newer (usually) = nicer!Congrats on getting 2 full weeks! I would do that in a heartbeat; take 2 weeks at a Value over one at a Moderate. ![]() P.S. Renting the WaterMice boats is one of my FAVORITE "extracurricular" things to do at WDW! I highly recommend it!

Wow that's great. I have only stayed for 10 days and still did not do everything that I wanted to do. There is always something we passed up to go this or that and then I get home and it like "oh man we forgot to do that". So I could stay inside WDW for the whole 2 weeks. I'm also taking a list of to do's in November.

You might also consider heading over to Universal Studios and IOA for a day or two if you have time. Although it does not have the Disney feel, my family loves the rides.
