They changed the Best Rate AP program to 60 days instead of 120 days!!

I am just wondering for those who booked 120 days out if they decided to change their reservation for some reason would they get penalized if it is before the new 60 day cut off??

With the best rate program, you can make any change you want, but there is a $50 change fee. If you are moving to something more expensive, they will waive the change fee. I haven't ever tried to move dates. Do you mean if you booked before for say November 10, and now you want to change to something like November 4? Sorry, not sure I understand what you are asking.

Ok say they come out with the free Dining plan and would want to change from the best rate program to a one day pass and length of stay dining would you be penalized if you changed to that if it was before the 60 day cut off!!

So basically you would be cancelling the best rate program room to change to the free dining! Understand?

If you are changing from a room only reservaton to a package, you would have to cancel your room only reservation and book the package, and you would lose your one night deposit that you paid on the room.

That is just wrong because she would not have made the ressie yet if it weren't for the 120 restriction!!! Now that they have changed the restriction they should allow you to change it up to the 60 days!!

The dates don't matter. Once you pay the deposit, even if it is for next February, the deposit is non-refundable, even if you cancel 5 minutes later. That is the problem with the best rate program.

I recently changed my reservation (from Polynesian to CSR) and was told I would be charged the $50 penalty. I checked my credit card statement online and saw that $50 was actually returned to me in addition to the refund they said I would get. I assume that's a result of my making a change so close to the revision of the policy. We're still 100+ days out.
