Florida Classic

I have a good friend that is taking a quick trip to WDW Nov 17th till the 20th. He just read that WDW sponsors a football game scheduled for the 19th called the Florida Classic. Will the budget resorts or parks be overrun with college kids? He is worried since he is staying at ASMovies. Please help!

Here is a WDW question that I have no clue on but one of you wonderful people will!!

Re: Florida Classic

I'm not sure, but there is a chance of it. Most large groups do tend to flock to the AS, but I always thought they went to music and sports. You should tell him to switch to Pop....they dont' book large groups there from what I have read.

Re: Florida Classic

Dana is exactly right... get him to move over to Pop Century. They do not do large group bookings because they don't have a group check-in desk. Pop is also newer so its a little cleaner. Plus dedicated bus service.
