sofa beds

Can anyone tell me how comfortable the pull out sofa beds are at the Beach Club, Boardwalk and Wilderness Lodge Studios. Trying to decide between staying at one of these or at Old Key West which has two beds. Any advice appriciated!

Re: sofa beds

We have stayed in a studio twice at BCV and both times the sofa bed was ok, typical sofa bed. We put kids in it both time and they didn't say a word about it. I think it might be a little rough for two adults for a week but very doable. Keep in mind that I am pretty picky about beds and pillows so this is just my opinion.

Are you putting kids or adults in it and how many?

Re: sofa beds

There would be an adult staying in the sofa bed, possibly two adults. Is there room to bring an air mattress. We will have four adults, but I'm not sure about two in a sofa bed.

Re: sofa beds

There really isn't a lot of room once the sofa bed is folded out. You may be able to push the sofe toward the sliding door and put a twin air bed between the two beds but it will be tight.

I think one person would be fine on the sofa bed.

Re: sofa beds

The sofa beds aren't really that comfortable. I'd leave it folded up and use the air mattress instead.

Re: sofa beds

I'd vote against the sofa bed. They are uncomfortable and they take up alot of room.

Re: sofa beds

My kids used it for a week and did say Pooh (Disney humor!). Usually we are so tired at the end of the day that we could sleep on nails!

Re: sofa beds

We just got back from a 2 nighter at Old Key West. I always take the mattress out from the sofa bed frame and just put it on the floor. In my opinion it is allot more comfortable that way. I did that on this trip and it was fine.
