Pop Century

It is possible to get a late check out time at Pop Century? We will be checking in Friday morning and would like to get a late check out on Sunday!

Re: Pop Century

It's up to them, you just have to call and ask.
I wish you could have late check out at the campgrounds though. It's not all that easy packing up in the morning. Especially when you want to get to the parks.

Re: Pop Century

That's a tough one, it really depends on how full the resort is. Worst case is you are told no so it doesn't hurt to ask. If you don't get a late check out bell services will hold your bags while you enjoy you last few hours of magic.

I would tell you welcome to DC but you've been a member for a long time. Welcome back sounds good!

Re: Pop Century

You can check out and leave your luggage at the resort while you go to the parks. (If that's your question.)

Re: Pop Century

I work at Pop Century, and just to let you know, late check outs are few and far between. The Front Desk requests them from Housekeeping, but it all depends on our turn (check in/check out) for the day. The latest is 1pm- without being charged. If you're requesting a late check out for Sunday, you can't request it with the desk until Saturday morning.

If you want to go out to the parks, Luggage Assistance can hold your luggage until you're ready to go.

We've been pretty busy- 90%-100% all this week- which is kinda crazy for the end of September!

Hope this helps!!

I think you work at one of the Best Disney resorts!!!!!!!

as for late check out .. when we flew, we let them hold our luggage and we went to the parks. I know others that just hang around the pools or resorts.

Sorry to continue with the hijack - but what is the special project?

Pop Century does sound cool, though. We drove through it a few months ago to check it out, and it looks like FUN!

Re: Pop Century

If they hold your luggage is it in a pretty secured place? We won't have to leave for the airport until 2:30 or 3:00 and I would love to be able to go to the parks in the morning. My DH is worried about leaving his camera stuff back at the resort and his bag is too big to carry around at the parks.

I'm not technically allowed to talk about what I'm doing. SORRY! But I'll just be at another resort for a month!

Yes your stuff is safe!! Once we put it on a rack, we don't touch it until you come to get it. It's not open to anyone except Pop Century Luggage Cast and Managers. Of course, the Airline guys do go in there as well, but just to go to their back cage and get stuff out, they don't bother our work. If your DH has stuff that he thinks is just too valuable (Such as camera stuff)- we do have a valuables cage we can lock the item in.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the information! That will make him feel better.
