Hello all,

Looks like this week is going to fly, to little time and so much work to do before I can leave for my vacation.

At this point it is clear that I will have to handle a couple of things by email from WDW, so is there anyplace where Wifi or wired broadband access can be found at WDW.

I understand there is dialup from the room at All Star Movies, but I would prefer something faster.

What resort are you staying at? Some of them have high speed internet.

I was at CB last week, and they were installing high speed in the rooms, and had wifi in the main building and by the pool. The in room was free, since they were still installing, and it wasn't guaranteed to work (though it did all times I tried it). I don't think there is anything at the value resorts. I will give Movies a call in the morning for you.

I don't think any AS Resort has high speed internet, we have stayed at OKW the past 2 years and SSR this Nov and they charge like $10 for 24 consectutive hours, which kinda stinks, I think it should be free.

High Speed Internet Access is available at Coronado Springs. The price is $4.95 per hour or $9.95 for 24-contiguous hours charged to the room account. Bring your own cable but if you forget, the card on the desk claims that housekeeping has some to borrow! Technical support is available via your room phone by dialing 56.

Wi-Fi: High Speed Wireless Internet Access is available to Guests staying at CSR!!! Guests with Wi-Fi enabled laptop computers or PDA's will be able to access the Internet from the common areas at CSR. Smart City is the vendor providing this service and 24-hour technical support for those Guests who need it. Smart City will bill the Guest using a secure credit card transaction via the on-screen Internet connection. Requirements: Requires a wireless interface card (WIC), available for purchase in the resort's business center. Price: $4.95 for the first 60 minutes or $9.95 for 24 contiguous hours. Coronado Springs areas include the Main Lobby, Convention Center hallway, the Dig Site (Feature Pool), Francisco's.

When we were at Caribbean Beach a couple of weeks ago, they had it installed in their rooms, but when I hooked it up to my laptop, it came up with a "under construction" page. There was a small link at the bottom that said if you want to use it during the construction phase, there was no cost, but it was possible that service could go down at any time. So, we go free internet for the 4 nights we were there, no problems at all.

Oh, and if you were wondering, the three Disneyland hotels has free high speed internet included in the resort fee they charge everyone. I really wish WDW would just do this, maybe make it another perk to stay in a moderate or deluxe.

I would love it to be free, but even if I had to pay $20 for our entire stay I would, not that I will be online much, but I do check my email at night or in the morning and to check in here at DC.

Your welcome. Yes I wish they would do it free also, just a perk. I don't know if anyone uses wireless but you can also go to www.jiwire.com they have free and then pay for hotspot locator, just enter your zip code for any area.
