I have reservations in December thru AAA and asked agent for specific building not preferred and floor and she states she can not request these. Can I call wdw and make requests?

If you booked through a travel agency, WDW will not note any preferences on your reservation. They will tell you that AAA has to call them. She is mistaken. They can note preferences on your reservation. Call and ask to speak to her supervisor. Mickey at mouseketrips was able to request certain buildings for me. You can also try the old way and fax a prefernce to the resort 4 days prior to your arrival...I don't know if they are still taking requets that way or not, but it can't hurt. You can also ask at check in. Disney is really good about these kinds of things. If you ask and it's available, chances are you will get it.

I believe that they do not assign the rooms until about 5 days before you arrive. So you could try and call the resort at that time and try to get the room you want. Hope you have a great trip. And Welcome to DC.

Your TA should be able to put your requests in your reservation. They cannot be guarnteed, but they can be requested.

Whenever you book through a travel agent or other similar party, they are the ones responsible for making those requests for you. You wouldn't be able to call Disney and make those requests yourself.

I would try again with your travel agent, because she really may have been mistaken. If she insists she cannot make any requests for you, I would try faxing your request directly to your hotel 4-5 days ahead of your arrival.

DEFINATELY call Disney and request the building you want. Even though they "can't guarantee it," I've NEVER not gotten what I requested. It can't hurt to call and let them know.

I agree with everybody here. They should be able to make special requests.
