First time on the site. My family and I visited twice this year (January and September). We stayed at both Port Orleans Riverside and the Polynesian. In both resorts, as well as in all WDW resorts I believe, there is a channel 19 on the television called WDW Today. It gives daily information for resorts, theme parks, shopping, weather, etc.

On this channel, in the background, is the music of many Disney movie songs that you rarely hear, including "Razzle Dazzle Day" from Pete's Dragon and "I Wanna Be Like You" from Jungle Book.

My daughter (12) fell in love with listening to this station whenever we were in the hotel room. She would turn it on immediately when we got in, shut the doors to the Arimore, and go about her business.

I am trying to find that music on any media I can get (CD, DVD, even tape) but have had no luck. I talked with a few different people in WDW, none of which know what I'm talking about.

Is there anyone out there who knows the TV station and the music I am talking about? Can you get it? Do you have it? Heck, if anyone is going to WDW soon, will you record it for me?

I have 2 disney classical tapes with 100s of all the disney songs on them. You can also download a program such as Limewire or Kazaa and download the music then burn it to a CD. You can do that but with viruses and all...

Actually go to a media center like Hastings and look for the Disney Classical tapes. There is 2-3 different kinds and it has a picture of Mickey's head on it in green blue and red for the different tapes. They are probably 2-9 bucks now.

Everybody,

I have spoken with the original recording artist. These particular tunes (recorded specifically for the WDW Today channel) are not available anywhere. They were never released for sale. I know it sounds like I'm just looking for some instrumental Disney music, but I'm not. Again, if anybody would like these, let me know.

Do you know what kind of instruments are playing? Just wondering if its midi or actual instruments, and is it solo or some kind of ensemble?

It is actually multiple instruments. It is not midi. The studio has actually done other recordings that have included entire orchestras.

Oh, I know exactly what music you are talking about. I can hear that instrumental Zippidi Do Da playing in my head and am picturing the park hours flashing in front of me on the Resort TV.
