Channel 19: WDW Today

Hello everyone,

First time on the site. My family and I visited twice this year (January and September). We stayed at both Port Orleans Riverside and the Polynesian. In both resorts, as well as in all WDW resorts I believe, there is a channel 19 on the television called WDW Today. It gives daily information for resorts, theme parks, shopping, weather, etc.

On this channel, in the background, is the music of many Disney movie songs that you rarely hear, including "Razzle Dazzle Day" from Pete's Dragon and "I Wanna Be Like You" from Jungle Book.

My daughter (12) fell in love with listening to this station whenever we were in the hotel room. She would turn it on immediately when we got in, shut the doors to the Arimore, and go about her business.

I am trying to find that music on any media I can get (CD, DVD, even tape) but have had no luck. I talked with a few different people in WDW, none of which know what I'm talking about.

Is there anyone out there who knows the TV station and the music I am talking about? Can you get it? Do you have it? Heck, if anyone is going to WDW soon, will you record it for me?

Thank you Ready2Go, but I'm not sure you understand what I am asking. I can get CD's with the show tunes on them as performed in the movies. I am looking for the recordings that are played on that station (19) in WDW. They are all instrumental, perfect for background music as my daughter puts it.

The first link is for all Instrumentals CD's. If they are the ones on the Resort TV I do not know.

The third link for Sorcerer Radio. They play a lot of Resort TV broadcast and if you contact them, they have an email link on the home page, I'm sure they could help you find what you are looking for.

I contacted the broadcaster for Sorcerer Radio and he told me that he couldn't let me have any of the tracks because of RIAA regulations. But he also wouldn't let me know how THEY aquired them to be able to play/broadcast.

Hey, 247hockey!

I really don't remember the name!! It was like...'Greatest Disney' something or another...and there was a green, blue, and red...volume 1, 2, and 3. 9.97 a piece.

I wish I would of bought them, and then I would just copy them for you.
But, they were all movies and stuff....

BMG does have an instrumental Disney selection...

Welcome to DC!!! They might have these recordings for sale in the parks and resorts. If so, if you check with WDW, they can tell you how to order them. Or, they might be able to give you info on where to get them if they are available. Good luck, and, again, welcome to DisneyCentral!!!!

I FOUND THEM!!!!

After WEEKS of searching, I finally located the actual recording studio that recorded them (can you believe it?). If anybody would like these, please let me know at help@247hockey.com.

These are the original recordings on the WDW Today (channel 19) television station in all the WDW resort hotels. There are a total of 30 songs on 2 CDs.

A BIG THANKS to all of you who helped (or tried to help) me!
