Why use an agent at all. I do my own research and book everything myself. It's not that difficult, just call disney, airline, rental car, etc. I like doing it myself that way I know everything was done right. Disney packages are always more costly. :D :D

If you do it yourself look for room codes. Room codes are codes that Disney reservations has, that discount rooms for one reason or another. AAA, military or DOD employees, airline employees, Disney club, or any company that sponsors a ride or attraction at WDW should have a code. These are just some examples. There are many more.

Where do you find out about the codes? I called Disney on the (407)XXX-XXX number and got a rate that was almost $200 cheaper than what a travel agent offered me. Also, the travel agent told me they wouldn't guarantee her connecting rooms. When I called Disney, I was told connecting rooms would be guaranteed because of the ages of our children.
I like doing the research myself but would love a great deal if it's to be found!:D |

Dee, you can find codes posted on our front page, or at Mousesavers. Connecting rooms are only guaranteed when you have young children who plan on sleeping in the other room. That is really the only request that Disney will guarantee, all of the others, they will try, but will not guarantee.
Most travel agents will have no idea what the codes even mean. They may book only one WDW trip a month. You are far better of doing the research yourself or going with a Disney only travel agent.
