Does anyone know when they release the ladybugs at the Poly? What time of year?

When we were there in Sept we asked and were told it is in the Spring... didn't ask what month or how long it lasts. Maybe someone else can offer more specifics.

Hey WVWISEGUY, welcome to Disney Central! With a quick search I came across this info about the ladybug release from intercot.com here it is:

What happens: Dr. Bug gives a little speech about why they release lady bugs (to act as a natural pest control), then each child is given a matchbox size box with 5 (some have more) lady bugs in it. They are instructed to place each bug somewhere in amongst the flowers & plants. Afterwards you can get any or all of these for participating: A Ladybug Release Certificate, Jiminy Cricket Environmentality stickers, and a credit-card sized pocket magnifying glass, stamped with Walt Disney World Pest Management - seems to depends on who is
doing it as to what you get.

Where: This is held every Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the back entrance to the Polynesian's Great Ceremonial House, and also each Thursday at the Wilderness Lodge at 10:00am

You must be staying at that resort to participate.

On Great Hotels, Grand Floridian special, I thought they said they did this with the kids every morning near the front entrance.
