Spoodles to EPCOT Question

Can you take a ferry from Spoodles to EPCOT? How long does it take.

Can you walk and is that quicker?

Re: Spoodles to EPCOT Question

You can take a ferry but it might be faster to walk, it's a 10 minute walk from the back gate.

Re: Spoodles to EPCOT Question

I took a ferry from EPCOT to the Spoodles/Boardwalk area and after I did Michele and I looked at each other like "why did we just do that?" haha. We could have EASILY walked A LOT faster. hehe. oh well, lesson learned.

Re: Spoodles to EPCOT Question

You can take the Friendship, as is said, but you also run the risk of getting on a boat heading for MGM first. You're much better walking. Unless you just need to go for a boat ride.

Re: Spoodles to EPCOT Question

you can take the ferry to epcot. i think it would be better to walk because the ferry would leave the boardwalk and go to the yacht and beach club before heading to epcot. you would probably be at epcot before the ferry gets there.

Re: Spoodles to EPCOT Question

Tigger, this is a definite walk! It's one of my favorite walks in all the land, in fact! Be sure to enjoy the sight and smell of the incredible giant magnolia trees along the way, and the beautiful plantings on the right side of the water as you approach France.

And BTW, if it is your first visit to EC for this trip, you will probably get so pumped up that you will make the walk in about 6 or 7 minutes!

Re: Spoodles to EPCOT Question

I walked all the way from Epcot to MGM one day. I left Epcot right as the boat was departing, walked at a normal pace, and still beat the boat. And it was a beautiful route! Any walk along the boardwalk area is going to be really nice and you will always beat the boat (at least I think so).
