Has anyone stayed at the Boardwalk Villas, and if so is there a walkway that leads to MGM?:) :) :)

Yes there is & it's a very nice walk, too. Much more relaxing than a crowded boat or bus, especially at the end of the night when EVERYONE & their brother is leaving.

Welcome to DisneyCentral! Yes, I have stayed at the Boardwalk Villas, in a studio, and yes, there is now a walkway that goes from the boardwalk area to Disney-MGM Studios. Also, of course, there is the boat service as well, though it gets slow at times. I think we had a lengthy discussion on the walkway here, including a nice photo posted by myself:

Disney-MGM Studios Walkway

The Villas are great, and you can't beat the location. Verry similar to the Boardwalk Inn, though the villa studios have a small kitchenette. I have been in the larger ones, and you won't be disappointed.

No, it actually goes under the same bridge as the canal that the boats run it. It is a nice walk at night, with the lights and water and all.

Is there a boat from the Boardwalk to MGM. Gosh I know so little about this resort, it sounds quite interesting. I know you have that back entrance to EPCOT which is way cool.

The boat does a big round trip from EPCOT to Beach/Yacht Club to Boardwalk to Swan/Dolphin to Disney-MGM and then back. It takes a while to get from EPCOT to Disney-MGM that way, much faster to just walk.
