Icon3 Final Call for help with Check IN and room advice

Please Help,

I am going frantic about my trip that leaves very soon.! We are staying at the GF with a lagoon view. I was looking for help with check in information and processes, what to ask for when i get there, and how to improve my room view chance?

These all kinda go together, but i was wondering if there are particular rooms that seem better as well as give a better view of castle. Also, peolle have advised me about asking for a free upgrade, but not to expect one, so all we can do is try.

Can someone also tell me about the pools, are they heated? As well as lil tricks and tidbits to look for and expect from my favorite mouse.!

Any ideas and information would be greatly appreciated. It is time to see the mouse!

thanks

Janie, Sorry I have no real info on what rooms are good at the GF, I just wanted to say that I know you will have a great time. The GF is a gorgeous resort. If you have time, try the Afternoon Tea at the resort. It was a really great way to unwind from the parks in the afternoon and the treats were yummy!

Wow! You are leaving soon!

The best views of the castle from the GF are in the Sago Cay and Conch key buildings. (I found this info in the Passporter)

Have a great trip!!

Re: Final Call for help with Check IN and room advice

I've stayed at GF twice. The pools are heated, don't worry about swimming this time of year, it will be fine. Also, on my honeymoon I stayed lagoon view in a room that seemed to be logistically far from the castle, but our view from the balcony was still wonderful. No matter where they put you, it will be great.

Re: Final Call for help with Check IN and room advice

When we went on our honeymoon, we also had a water view somewhat far from the castle, but this actually worked out wonderfully -- we had a panoramic view of the MK and Polynesian! We were there in June (horribly crowded); I've got to think you will get an upgrade, or at least a really, really good lagoon view, this time of year if you ask.

I can't say enough good things about this resort! You will have a fantastic time.
