Pop Century

I requested a king size bed, 50's building facing the lake...What are the chances I get all of these?

Also, how far in advance can I actually call the resort to discuss my requests? I think it's 5 days, not sure.

Re: Pop Century

Apparently, your chances are very small. According to something I just asked a travel agency that we all know and love...

"The king bed rooms at the value resorts are by request only. That means that you can ask for it and Disney will do their best to grant your request, but they will not guarantee it....I will say that the king bed rooms at the Values are really tough [to get]."

I was looking into it before I asked and I'm thinking they might all be handicapped-accessible?

Re: Pop Century

I think all the king beds are the handicap rooms. We requested one for our trip in October and didn't get it and then I read somewhere about them being handicap only.

Re: Pop Century

Is a handi-cap room so much different than standard rooms? What's the biggest difference, and would I enjoy a standard room more (seeing as how I'm disabled?) Thanks!
