? about a split stay at PORQ and SOG

If it all works, I'm planning on splitting our stay between POFQ and SOG. This way we get to stay at our favorite resort and have the dining plan for a week and then try SOG for 3 days. I don't know if this is possible without losing the 10 day free ticket upgrades we got. I'm not sure about Disneys rules. Can you get 10 day tickets with a 7 day resort stay? I'm going to call this morning but sometimes CMs don't know so I figured I'd ask here first! I also need to know if Disney will transfer luggage to SOG.

We split stays last summer too. We stayed 5 days at SOG and then switched over to AKL for 7 days. They did not transfer our luggage for us. I would also suggest calling. We really enjoyed SOG. The rooms were bigger than the delux rooms. The only negative I can think of is the distance to the pool from where our rooms were located.
I am pretty sure that you can get 10 day tickets regardless of how many days you are staying.
We considered the SOG again this summer, but with free dining we chose the POFQ too. Hope you enjoy your trip.
