Pop Century building questions

Does anyone know which buildings are preferred locations? My 2005 Passporter says 60's in Classic Years and 20's in Legendary Years. I thought I've read here on DC that Legendary Years isn't built yet.

Some more questions:
Is it worth it to pay extra for perferred location here?
Which buildings have
...closest access to parking lot?
...closest to pool?
...closest to main building/food court?
...closest to bus stop?

Thanks!

Re: Pop Century building questions

The 60's is the preferred building. We stayed in the 50's, though and were actually closer to the foodcourt, buses, etc. than the preferred building. I would ask for the 50's or 70's building when you check in. Ledgendary years was never finished, it may be made into suites in the future.

I agree with Karliebug, we stayed in the 50's and we were the closest to the food court and bus stops. There is a pool in the 50's area and you are also very close to the main pool as well. The 50's area also has a laundramat.

Re: Pop Century building questions

Karliebug already answered your question about the preferred building. But I will add that we also stayed in the 50's building facing the lake. It wasn't the shortest walk to the food court or bus stop but it was quiet. We enjoyed it. This next visit we're hopefully doing a 70's building but only to do something different. I hope we aren't disappointed!

Re: Pop Century building questions

At the PC,you don't have to ask for a preferred room, because the buildings are pretty close to the main hall and the buses.

Re: Pop Century building questions

Thanks, I may call to cancel the preferred location and request the 50's building!

And, ready2go... thanks for that map. It was very helpful!

Re: Pop Century building questions

I've stayed in both the 70s and 80s buildings. I'd choose the 70s of the two - and while my husband would like to pay for a preferred room I'm not convinced it's worth it (so we're NOT paying for it in the fall )

It probably is the quietest - as well as the farthest away. But no where is really that far -- you should be fine! Have fun!

Re: Pop Century building questions

The 70's buildings are closest to the bus stop. Makes a huge difference at the end of a long day.
