hello all, I am seeking information regarding the annual Flower and Garden Festival previously held in Epcot. Is it still on?? What are the dates?? Thankyou if anyone can help me with this. Twinme:)

I am really glad you asked this question. We are going in early May, which I think is the time of the flower show, but I can't find any info on it. I have heard that there are concerts at Epcot as well as seminars on gardening.

I hope someone who knows will respond.

I just went to www.wdwig.com and looked up the date. It will be April 25-June 8. Go to the site I mentioned and go to theme parks, and scroll down to flower and garden festival, there is a page with all the details, including the line up for the musical preformances.

Hope this helps. I'll be there too! I love this festival. Just when you think EPCoT can't get any more beautiful, it does!!

Looks like I will make it for the last day of the festival. I guess my first day at disney will be spent at epcot. I couldnt decide what park to go to first. I will be there for mothers day, is anything special going on for that?

Mothers day is May 8th, and the festival ends on June 8th, so you should be fine.

We are going the last week of May and the first week of June. I Can't wait to see the displays. We've been once before during the Flower and Garden Festival, and the topiraries (sp!) take up a couple rolls of film themselves!!

I don't know of anything "specific" going on for mothers day, but I can bet disney does something special that day. Does anyone here know for sure??

I absolutely LOVE the Flower and Garden Festival. Last year,I went 3 times because I loved the groups who performed at the Flower Power concerts.(I saw Davey Jones,Survivor,and John Caffertey and the Beaver Brown Band). This year,I am looking forward to seeing Peter Noone again. Last year he missed it for whatever reason.

Any idea what groups will be there this year? I loved Davey Jones when I was a kid, had a big crush on him and used to watch the monkees tv show all the time. My 11 yr. old reminded me that I am getting "older" the other day when I was watching the rolling stones on HBO and she walked in and said "I dont want to watch a bunch of old guys running around on stage" . I found a web site (must have been on another board) of pictures from last years flower and garden festival, they were beautiful. My 9 yr old daughter loves plants and flowers and she is really looking forward to seeing this festival.

I saw on another website(www.disneysites.com) that Peter Noone was going to be there. That's one I am definitely going to see.

We will be there when Paul Revere and the Raiders are playing. I know a few of their songs but my mother was thrilled to death when she heard they were going to be there. Does it cost extra to see these bands or do they play out in the open?

Someone correct me if things have changed, but in the past, they have always played a "free" (with paid park admission) concert in the covered stage area across from the American Adventure in World Showcase.

We saw Davy Jones there in 1999, it was really fun!!

Are there gardening seminars during the flower festival? Does anyone have a schedule of them?

I had totally forgotten about Mother's Day - we will be there for it! Have to plan something special!

I've heard that HGTV will be there! There is a line up of the festival on www.wdwig.com. Check it out!!

I can't wait to see this festival again. I love the topiaries. As far as the music goes, I won't plan around it but will be happy to stumble across a great band. We will be there for mother's day and I haven't been able to find anything about any special happenings. The only thing I've seen is that attendance levels may be affected because it is a holiday. And that some restaurants will have special menus for the day.
