Resort provided babysitters?
We've planned our 2nd trip for June this year. Our oldest will only be 11 so we can't leave him with the other two (ages 3 and 5). So we're thinking of hiring an inroom sitter? Has anyone ever done this? If so, would you recommend it to others? :nervous
By the way, can someone tell me how to add a counter to my messages???? |

Go to the thread "Wilderness Lodge in April" and look for Mickey's post. He left me a link there to add a counter.
Regarding babysitters, I think they are a good option but I don't have the courage to leave my daughters with someone they don't know - they don't speak English. Your children are older though. You might want to try one and have some time for you. Just let me know how it goes.

Thanks Disney Fan. I'm nervous about the sitter so hopefully I'll hear from someone who has tried it and will ease my worries:nervous
Thanks for the tip on the countdown. Hopefully I got it right.

I should think you shouldn't have anything to worry about (other than perhaps the price, lol!). I'm sure Diseny is very, very careful about who they hire for this.
Don't forget to consider the "clubs" for your children too. They'd be provided with activities, the chance to play with other children, and you wouldn't have to worry about them being alone in their room with someone you don't know.

The clubs seem like a fun idea. This way the kids are having a good time and they aren't stuck in the room with a stranger. You don't have to be staying in the hotel that offers the kid club I don't think.
