POFQ Refrigerator?
On allearsnet and other websites I read that I would have a fridge in our room. However, when I called Disney to make sure... they said it would be 10.00 a day???
Whats the deal ?

I, too, was under the impression that POFQ has complimentary fridges. So, I looked up the POFQ on www.disneyworld.com. Here is how it is listed.
Room features: Most rooms are available with two double beds. A limited amount of rooms with king-size beds are also available Disabled accessible rooms available In-room pizza delivery Nonsmoking rooms available Irons, ironing boards, hair dryers and coffee pots in each room In-room refrigerators Cribs available upon request In-room safes Phones with voicemail and data ports Disney Channel and ESPN Laundry facilities/services I think that you just happen to get a CM who was unaware. To ease your mind, I would call and talk to a different CM.

When I was there in November, wait....yes November there were fridges in the rooms and no charge.

Everytime we have stayed at POR we had a fridge in our room. They are the smaller ones, like dorm fridges. They are no charge in the moderates and deluxes.

I just stayed there in October. The rooms all have fridges and you don't pay anything for it. Whoever you talked to wasn't in the loop.

The fridges at POR last year were free and in every room.
They are pretty small but were good for chilling some bottled water and keeping fruit fresh (we used to grab a piece of fruit as our "dessert" on the dining plan in the food court.) Of course, I also used it to keep my ice packs cool for my swollen ankle so I was super happy to have it there!

In the past you had to request a fridge and pay the fee, we were there in november and we had a fridge without asking or fee.

We were at POR last Nov and we had a fridge at no cost. And although there is a refrigerator in the room, it does not have a freezer. Just enough space to keep a few things cold.
