September Nights

Hey Y'All...

Let me start by saying that my DH is going to be the death of me.
We were sitting at my DD's chorus concert yesterday waiting for it to start when DH asks me, are you planning on taking winter clothes with you to WDW.

I told him "No!" it's September in FL, should be rather nice nights, I will take a light jacket and some light sweats just incase, and I plan on doing the same for the girls... WHY?

He just dropped the subject... So what are the nights like mid-September...
I figure 50-70 degree - am I right... if so please let me know so I can drop kick him to Orlando instead of letting him get on the plane.

Re: September Nights

When we went down the first week of October last year even the nights were hot and humid--it stayed in the 70's and 80's at night

Re: September Nights

I only advise people to take one or two cold weather outfits with them from October to April.

Re: September Nights

Thanks...
Like I said I am planning on packing a light jacket, sweatshirt and light cotton sweatpants... something I can throw over the shorts... same for the girls.
I will be brining 1 pair of jeans but that is for the plan... no matter what time of year I am always COLD in the plane.

Re: September Nights

Oh, it is SO not cold in September. Don't forget that is still prime hurricane and tropical storm season so the weather is well... tropical. I wouldn't expect anything COOLER than 70 degrees at night.

Re: September Nights

you will definitely NOT be experiencing temperatures in the 50s or 60s!

It will most definitely be in the 70s or 80s. :c)

Re: September Nights

Being from PA/NJ I hate the cold.
I would rather have 70-80 degree weather than 50-60 degree...
besides that why FANS were invented...

:)

Re: September Nights

We went last September 11 through the 18th. It was HOT during the day. Like in the 90's everyday, and not a drop of rain. Being from upstate NY, we were like fish in a frying pan. Sizzle sizzle sizzle. Lots of suncream, and we quickly learned the location of the best air conditioned stores and places to eat.

The nights were warm as well, no need for a jacket at all. The pants stayed in the suitcase. Going back again in September. The crowds were low (except the weekends) and the resorts were not crowded at all.
