AP Discount & Dining Plan
I am considering purchasing an AP as we vacation at Disney 7 days annually. If I obtain a room using an AP discount can I still purchase the dining plan? I realize free dining is not an option, however, I will be going in January, so...
I seem to remember hearing sometime, somewhere, that in order to purchase the dining plan you had to pay rack rate for your rooms. Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks for any info you can give me. |

Re: AP Discount & Dining Plan
No, the Disney dining plan can only be purchased in conjunction with a Magic Your Way package that includes the resort room and your park passes. Usually, unless there is some sort of discount, you have to pay rack rate for the room.
With the AP, you can take advantage of the Disney Dining Experience, which gives you a 25% discount on your food and drinks at most Table service restaurants. You do have to pay an annual fee, but for most people, it is worth it.
