Getting inpatient for Sept discounts

Okay, it is now almost the end of June...where the heck are the Sept discounts!!

We have had a few financial set-backs and a break in the rates would help out. I had nasal reconstruction surgery in April and I should be billed for the deductible and co-payments shortly. I also have to have surgery for a torn ligament in the wrist in a few weeks and that will be another $250 deductible plus co-payments. Cant forget that my dog has to have a major surgery tomorrow for an eye tumor which is setting us back $1000. I refuse to cancel our September WDW trip...just trying to find ways to make it more affordable (like having a discounted rate) without giving up the moderate resort. I already prepayed 2 nights and only have the balance of one night. We had added a 3rd night after I had already payed off the first two. We have an envelope where we have been tucking away money here and there to put towards the trip. I believe we have $235 so far and 2.5 more months to save. That will go towards food probably.

Sprinkle the pixie dust in hopes of discounted rates for passholders! lol (We did get the AAA rate which isnt terrible but every little bit helps)

I am sprinkling the dust for you. You should see those discounts soon if there are any. I don't know what there will with the free dining that month, but I am hoping you at least get a little bit of a break.

I wish you and your family all quick and easy recoveries and also that you get a discount code for your trip. I am going through some new major pains with $$ this past week and almost canceled my trip, so I feel what you are going through (minus surgery pain!).

Even with my annual pass, it still might make more sense to go rack rate with the free dinning. After all, that should equate to $90 a day for 2 adults. That is probably more than any room discount. Even if I get stuck buying MYW tickets, I can use them against next year's renewal. But the rates would be nice.
Oh, what I didn't say is, even as I type, I'm on hold with reservations.
