Access to monorail

The Poly and Contemporary have direct access to the monorail but do the Yacht Club, Beach Club, and Boardwalk resorts have walking access to the monorail via Epcot?

Regards,

Re: Access to monorail

Yes, but you have to cover the entire park south to north to get to the monorail. If you're going to one of the monorail resorts from the Epcot resort area, take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and transfer to the resort monorail from there. Also, unless you have a paid park admission, and a park hopper at that, I wouldn't recommend walking to the monorail. you can't enter Epcot without it and if you don't have a park hopper, as soon as you enter Epcot, that's your choice for that day.

Zactly what Soundman said - EPCOT is HUGE, and that is NOT an easy walk! The monorial ride is a LONG one, too! Go to the TTC via bus, and get on the monorail there! It's just easier!

Re: Access to monorail

Those resorts do have monoail access of sorts. You will have to walk through the international gateway to get to future world to then get the monorail...busses maybe quicker.

Re: Access to monorail

I've pounded my way from the bridge all the way to the monorail enough times to tell you , it's a long walk. It might be longer than Boardwalk to MGM. And you'll be in crowds that will slow you down. I've also pounded from the top of the lagoon to the Beach's bus stop. There was once, a long time ago that I came from MK, stoped in for Illuminations, then returned to the Dolphin. Unless you're trained to walk block afte block in midtown Manhattan, take the bus.

Re: Access to monorail

YOu will enter through the INternational Gateway (between UK and France) and walk past Canada and through Future World to the monorail. If you are in a hurry, it is best to take a bus to MK and hop on monorail from there.

Re: Access to monorail

Oh yeah, if you do walk through Epcot, make sure you stay to the left and go past England and Canada. If you turn right and go past France, you'll be taking the longer route around the lagoon. It's much shorter on the English speaking side.

Re: Access to monorail

Boy, I don't even like walking from the front of the World Showcase back to the monorail...I can't imagine regularly walking from one of those resorts all the way through! Epcot is just toooooo huge for my poor feet!
