You can see the difference between the Swans "usual" rooms and the "heavnly bed" rooms by going to www.wdwig.com and clicking on "accomodations", find "Swan" at your left and click "photos". They look so cool. I am kinda assuming that they will charge extra for these rooms, but I have not asked them yet. Since there is not a 1-800 number available, I'll wait until I make my reservation to ask. Anywhere I see the room rates, I have never seen a rate quote for a "heavnly bed" room. I'm also curious as to the room rates for the newly renovated rooms, if they will be charged differently, since not all the floors/rooms have been renovated yet.

The problem is, now that I have seen pics of both rooms, I don't want that "ordinary, and boring" older one, the heavnly bed is so much nicer! And they are probobly charging more for the heavenly bed! This Swan stay is a major splurge for us as it is, since this next trip is o get married, and the ceremony is at the swan, we are splurging with a 9 nite stay at the Swan! We always have gone all-atar or moderate. We figure we spend so little time in the room, and all the resorts are really all great, including the all-stars, and we have never been disappointed. We are always on a budget, and opt to spend our money on other things during our vacations!

Oh yea...they have a nice site. I'm getting excited, September can't get here soon enough. I can't decide if I'm more excited about getting married (at the Swan 9/16) or about going to disney! My two favorite things, my "main aqueeze" and Disney!

Heavnly bedrooms at Swan Answered!
Just got off the phone with the Swan. The woman I am dealing with to get our wedding group rate gave me the scoop. The swan will be completely renovated in a month or so...when complete EVERY room at the resort will have the heavnly beds! So it is not an added expense. The Dolphins renovation will be complete in 2004, but since the Swan is Westin owned and the Dolphin Sheraton owned I'm not sure if the Dolphin will be going all heavnly beds also. She said the beds are so popular that they have made them available to purchase by popular demand! I'm going to check out the Westin site, she said you can read all about it there.:D

I stayed at the Swan for my birthday in November 2002 (100 years of magic birthday celebration rate). And yes the "heavenly beds" are quite heavenly. Did not know about the heavenly beds, I actually thought the room was set up "special" for my birthday, :lovehaha , did not find out about the Swan renovations until after I checked out.
