The Boardwalk Inn

I loved the Boardwalk Inn. Went with the family back in 2003, and it was a very nice resort.

After having seen many, many Disney travel videos, most of the value resorts seem to offer some of the same anemities, such as bus service, etc.

So, if you'd rather spend the money in the parks, then stay at a value resort. If you want deluxe accomodations, and like walking on the boardwalk, then this is the resort for you!

Hey Kath, welcome to the Buzz. I have plans to be here in March. We asked for a Boardwalk view. I'm really hoping your right and this will be cool.

There's a Boardwalk Inn at Disneyland?

Or did she mean Walt Disney World?

I don't think you can confuse Paradise Pier with Boardwalk Inn. Funny how this started in the wrong place. We'll probably be staying at the Boardwalk for New Year's, possibly splitting between Swan and Boardwalk. We've stayed in the Yacht with boardwalk view. It would be nice to stay across the way and have Yacht/Beach view from my room.

Re: The Boardwalk Inn

One thing to keep in mind, when you go, is that with a boardwalk view, there is boardwalk noise. Especially if it's the weekend, though, everyone there is on vacation, so it can be a bit noisey during the week too.

We had rooms on the courtyard side, and it was quiet, which we were happy about since we used the rooms to just sleep. LOL

The boardwalk reminded me, in a small way, of the jersey shore boardwalks. The boats were quick in getting to Epcot and MGM. Really nice. The buses were always full, but it takes 20 mins to get to the Magic Kingdom.

Re: The Boardwalk Inn

I would love to stay at the Boardwalk. Maybe someday when my budget is bigger...but for now, the Value resorts serve me just fine. I'm content to visit the Boardwalk and dream of when I can afford to stay there!

Re: The Boardwalk Inn

Welcome to MouseBuzz! And I must agree about the noise. Boardwalk views are nice - but be prepared. There will be noise until 2 a.m. everynight. We had a Boardwalk view once, but would never choose it again.

Our stay at the BW was also an awesome experience. It is a great place to spend a leisurely day when you are taking a break from all the park hopping.
