All Star Sports Silver or Gold Dream Maker Package or CBR regular Dream Maker Package
My dream resort would be AKL, but since that is currently 3300, it is out of my price range. Also, I am the type of person who likes to get alot for his dollar. Since this is the case, I currently have a reservation for myself to stay at CBR Dec 26 to Jan 3 including the regular dream maker package for $2200. For $1953.47 silver and $2600 gold, I could stay at Disney All-Star Sports Resort with a perfered room, transportation to and from the airport, and upgrade to the Silver or Gold Dream Maker package. I have until the end of October to make my final changes, before my final payment is due on Nov 11. If it makes any difference, I will be going by alone on this trip. Also, I have sat down and figured out the getting a room and tickets seperate is only $50 cheaper than going with the regular dream makers package at CBR.
Here is a link to what both the regular package includes and the silver package: Regular (CBR): http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.co...m_maker2003.htm Silver: (If I changed to Disney All-Star Sports Resort) http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.co..._silver2003.htm Gold: (If I changed to Disney All-Star Sports Resort) http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com...r_gold2003.htm I think that the perfered fireworks viewing and the tours are the main reason that I am thinking about doing this. Also, the 2 perfered wishes per day, either for food or activities is also nice. If I went with the Gold package, having all of my meals taken care of, plus being able to do the tours along with other things would be nice. Since this will be my first trip since 1980, I need all of the advice that I can get. |

If it were me, I would stay at the All Stars.
If you are looking for "plush" accomidations, then All Stars is probably not for you. It is VERY fun and very relaxed and 100% Disney! We really enjoy all 3 All Stars resorts (in this order....#1 Movies, Toy Story section.....#2 Music, Calypso section.....#3 Sports, Surfs Up section.) If you do decide to stay at all stars, opt for the preferred locations (only $10/night extra) and you will be much closer to the food court and bus stops. Just make sure to request a room that is NOT facing the pool (unless you like a lot of noise until midnight or so!!) and request a 2nd or 3rd floor room. The foot traffic on the 1st floor can be quite loud (especially early in the morning, when families are heading in to the parks). All of the buildings at All Stars have elevators. Check out www.wdwig.com and look at the resort maps. The sections furthest away from the main building (Melody Hall, Cinema Hall, etc.) can be quite a trek to make every morning and evening. I can't give you any personal experience on the C.B.R, but there are a lot of people on Disney Central that have stayed there. I'm sure they'll be replying to you soon. There are also others who have done the Silver and Gold Dream Maker packages. Keep checking back over the next couple days for all their input!! We are happy to have you here at Disney Central. The people here love to share their knowledge of Disney. Hope we can help you out!! Have fun planning. You are going to be there during a very busy, but VERY beautiful time of year!!

Also FYI....
The guy who runs this website has his own Disney ONLY Travel agency called Mouseketrips. Go to the home page here at Disney Central and you'll see the link. He will work hard for you to get you a great price on a package. And the great part is, he'll know if any discounts come out and will be able to apply them to your trip. Just a thought......
