WDW Swan or Dolphin

OK, these hotels are known to have great rates for teachers, nurses and government employees, right? But I found something that says these GREAT RATES are available to MANY more of us:

Special Offer:
Rates starting at $149 per night! The Swan and Dolphin also offers special discounts for teachers, nurses and government workers. Other great discounts offered to Annual Passholders, AAA/AARP and Entertainment Book members. This discount is based on hotel availability and not all dates are available.

Just go to Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, Disney Resorts if you're interested!!!

Wow, I didn't know that rate applied to so many more people. Thanks Kim!! I think about staying at the Swan all the time because of that great but I never do--some day I am going to try it.

They are both really nice resorts. I have a small preferance for the Swan, but that is totally subjective. While the theming may not be as Disney as we are used to, the price for that prime location more then makes up for it. Besides, if you need a quick infusion of Disney theming just shoot over to Beaches and Cream, that will do it for anyone!

That's good to know. We are still thinking about a March trip and it's peak season at the Disney resorts so we may look and see what the rates are at that time. The location can't be beat and with the discount it's an awesome deal.

Can u get the DP at the swan or dolphin? What about Mickey soap? Do they give that out??

No dining plan for the Swan or Dolphin. There are also no Mickey soaps but if you need a few to set out when you get there I have some extras.
