Coronado Springs
Where in relation to all the parks is Coronado Springs located ? We stayed at Carribean Beach in 2005 and If memory serves me correct, it was roughly a 10 minute bus ride to all the parks, but Magic Kingdom was a little farther. I wonder if there is an overview map of all the disney property, that would be really helpful. Help the newbie, please ?

Re: Coronado Springs
Just checked out that aerial view... hey! I think I can see myself!!!
No, it must be another short woman with khakis, sandals and a red Tshirt. Hmmm. Who does she think she is, dressing like me? LOL

Re: Coronado Springs
CSR is the most central to the 3 parks. The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World in part three "Selecting your Hotel" it states that the commuting times to the parks from CSR are: 7:30 to MK; 4:00 to Epcot; 4:45 to MGM; and 4:45 to Animal Kingdom! As a comparison from POR it is 12:00 to MK; 8:00 to Epcot; 12:30 to MGM; and 16:15 to AK. See the map below.

Re: Coronado Springs
Welcome Isaiah2k6!!!!
We stayed at Coronado Springs last January and really enjoyed it! The themeing is beautiful and the pool area is probably the most elaborate of any of the resorts (except for the higher-end deluxe ones)! I know you'll have a great time!!!

Re: Coronado Springs
hello, I have reservations for coronado springs for t-day weekend. (was lucky to get a cancellation as everything is booked.)
Is there a way to figure out where you are staying in the resort from a reservation number or room/bed size? (king bed, not suite or anything fancy, as we tend to spend time in parks not at the hotels) Last edited by Sortiri; 11-16-2006 at 04:56 PM. |

Here are some good room choices. Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred. Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool) Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool and is also a smoking optional building. Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a. Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool. Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building. |
