We were able to take advantage of the free dining last year, arriving 1 day early. We had to book a 1 day without and 8 days with the dining plan. If you need to do this, remember to ask at checkin if they can get you a room that won't require moving at the end of first reservation, that is one possible, but minor, problem.

We shouldn't but I think we'll be there again this year if my husband gets his hands on the code.

Yes, those are the dates for the FREE DINING promotion. I was able to book my 2007 stay while I was at WDW in December. They had a program called PILOT FUTURE STAY PROGRAM. They didn't really advertise this AT ALL. They only advised people staying at select resorts about it. I knew about it because I found out from a reliable source on another board. I then posted all the info here at Mouse Buzz.

Hey! I'm a newcomer to the board and just wanted to say that this is one of those most informative Disney sites i've ever visited.

The wife and i have already booked from September 14th through the 22nd of this year. Our travel agent hasn't heard anything on whether they will be opening the Free Dining to the public she has confirmed what's already been stated here. (That if you book now while on vacation you can get the free dining from late august to the end of september. We're staying at the All Star Movies (our 1st time there), and we have dining added to our package now and our agent will flag it for free if it ends up coming out.

We are really hoping because we are spending a ton on our house this summer and the free dining will be a big help.
