Week of Feb. 4 - No Moderates?
Does anyone out there know why there wouldn't be any Moderates available for this week? We are thinking about Feb. 3 or 4 through the 10th.
I can find availability at PC - which is probably where we'd end up, but it makes me nervous about crowd levels. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Have you called or just checked online?
If you've just cheked online I'd give Disney a call..they always seem to have available rooms when online does not.. Also we went the first weekend in Feb last year and it was CHEERLEADER time..you may want to check the calendar at Disney's Wide World of Sports and see if it is the Cheerleading Championship..they don't make or break your trip..but some of my most unpleasant times at WDW are when the cheerleaders are everywhere...one or two squads would be OK..but there are THOUSANDS of them..everywhere.

Welcome to Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex I just checked it out though and it dosnt look like anything is going on..in fact I didnt see the Cheerleaders on there AT ALL..so I am not sure what's going on with that!

I've only been looking online so far, but I will give them a call. I checked the event calendar on AllEars, but they didn't have anything listed either. Could they be rehabbing or just waiting for more demand? I'd hate to be the ONLY people in WDW that week

Keep checking back. When I went to book my trip the resort I wanted was booked but a few days later they had plenty of rooms.

I know a while back when we where booking our agent couldn't fit us in for 10 days because things were booked up. So we are fit in for 8 nights... so it's been booked up for a while.

I've been working on my trip, and I think WDW's computers are acting screw-y. I've called WDW three times in the last 24-hours and all the CM's were having trouble accessing info for ADR's and etc.
I noticed I couldn't access my confirmation number on line, either. Anyway, I'd just call and ask. Feb 2-3 is not a busy time at all!

Well, I still need to call and ask - just to satisfy my curiosity. But I think we've now decided to go in January instead.

We were there the week of Feb. 12th this year (arrived the 10th and left the 17th). That week the cheerleaders were there. We are arriving Feb. 2nd this time and I am hoping that we are cheerleader free.

I highly doubt the cheerleaders would be staying at the moderates... also we had limited avail with the promotional rates in the moderates- there were not many avail at that time. But that was in order to get the promotional discount with the hoppers included. It was really cheap to stay at a moderate so perhaps they filled up fast because of this? I would call if I were you.
