Has Disney stopped sending confirmation....

letters for room-only reservations? I have 2 upcoming room-only reservations(one for the 21st of this month-yay AP rates!!-and one for the weekend of Caveyfest II-I figure I need the weekend to recover from CF II!!!),and I haven't received any letters from them yet. I'm just glad that I have the confirmation numbers from when I made the reservations.

I would call and check as I did get the ones I did to hold hte rooms when we booked our second leg of our trip a month or so ago- call and check.

It seems I get confirmations for everything. We even got the confirmation for our October 20 stay, which I only booked October 10 days before we we left home. Give them a call and also check your reservation on line.

I haven't heard that they quit sending out confirmation letters. I would call and ask but I'm a worrier.

Ever since the system upgrade a few weeks ago, I have stopped getting room only confirmations in the mail. They are now able to send them by fax and by email (soon). I will see if I can find something out tomorrow about the mail, as I was wondering the same thing.

I've noticed that the mail confirmations have been pretty slow coming the last month.

I've changed my itinerary about a dozen times, and before I get the confirmation in the mail, I've changed it again twice...they're pretty far behind.

That seems strange to me alma. Do call on monday and confirm everything and ask them to send you something.

I'm starting to think I don't want a confirmation letter mailed to me,because this trip is a surprise to my mother,and I want to tell her in my own time that we're going. I have the confirmation number,so that should be all that is needed.

I also have a one night stay on New Year's Eve at Pop Century. I had misplaced the confirmation letter to that,but I still had the number written in my planner,so when I called to see if there were any last-minute cancellations for the 30th,I was able to tell the CM my number and she was able to pull up the reservation. That tells me that as long as I have the confirmation number,I should be fine.

I've got an update of sorts. We're going up tomorrow and I decided Monday that we would stay overnight so I booked a room at ASSports. In today's mail there was the confirmation/invoice dated Tuesday.

Update to my last post. I should have looked closer. There was an error in the reservation date. It was supposed to be for Friday Dec 15, not Monday Dec 18.
I didn't notice the wrong date until I was walking into the All Star Sports on Friday. Good thing this wasn't next week!
