Is anyone else having trouble with Walt Disney World website? I have been trying to log on for almost a week, but keep getting an "uh-oh, an error has occurred" message.

I havent had a problem at all. Sorry to hear that you are having problems. I which I knew of something to help you, Im a computer dummy so. Im sure that someone else here will have an idea. Good Luck

No no problems here either. It may have something to do with your method of connection (Dial up VS cable etc) or possibly the internet settings on the browser on your computer!:)

I had the SAME problem last week. My hubby told me I'd used up my visit limit and they wouldn't let me in anymore!! lol!

Seriously, I have Windows XP and he just restored the computer to the last date that I knew I could gain access to it. If you have Windows XP, resore you computer to 1 week ago. It worked for me!!

I had trouble last week getting into the sweepstake's part of WDW as it was the last few days. I was just on the dis. site with no problems. i use www.disney.go.com

I went to disneyland.com then worked my way around to DW. It seems to be working fine now. We just changed from ATT to Comcast maybe that had something to do with it. Don't know, but at least I can get on now.!!

I've used all the links above and I still get the same message. I can get into the Disney site but not Walt Disney World. I have Windows XP so I'll get my husband to check that out since I know nothing about computers.

I just got on using Netscape. We get automatic Windows XP updates and they probably blocked some hole that Disney was using. We tried to lower security, etc. and still got the same message. Until WDW and Windows XP get in sync I guess I'll just use Netscape. Thanks everyone for your help.

Did you try clearing out your "cookies"? I don't know if this will work or not, but everytime I have a problem w/some site, when i ask for help, they tell me to clear out the cookies, and to hit "F5" to refresh the page also. Hope this helps!

My hubby says what you do is this:

Go to the Start menu and then go to all programs, then go to accessories, and then system tools. You will find a program called system restore. That is where you change the date back to the last known date that you could gain access to www.disneyworld.com. So If you haven't been able to gain access for 5 days, punch in the date for 6 days ago.

We have to do this quite often for one reason or another and it always works for us.

I asked someone at work about this problem and he suggested the same thing as BDavis did. He said that it is a problem with using Windows XP and that is why you might have to do it often. I dont know I dont have Windows XP. Im still on the old Windows 98 version and I'm not having any problems so I'm afraid to upgrade.
