We booked our trip through Mousketrips and are all set!

YIPPIE

He got us set up for 7nights from 12/19-12/26 at POR. I went with this one instead of the value. My DH said let me see, nicer place less money why question it? we are giving it a shot seems might be more options for kids with the sister resort there as well.

Anyhow our meal plan is in it and 7 day hopper as well for the low low price of 3,372.00. For some reason the value was more money not sure why but oh well.

My son wanted to have 2 rooms but considering we are paying I think he will make it sharing a room with all of us

any suggestions for while we are the resort???? let me know thanks much!!

Your going to love POR.. I stayed there a few years back and we had a great time. We also shared a room with our kids, I think it's much more fun. I also enjoyed the boat ride to DTD. The boat captain are a fun bunch of guys to be around...

Glad to know its a nice place. on another post I was reading people said there kids didn't like it much and it was OK but nothing so wonderful, so i got a little worried. I figure seems most people think its a nice place to stay so give it a shot. a few years ago we stayed at Wilderness Lodge and that was a really nice place.

It is a very nice resort, the food court has many options, and the rooms are quite roomy. There are "quiet" pools and then the large main pool, and you can also use the pool at POFQ. Make sure you take a walk around the grounds, they are lovely!

That is about as far out as we started planning! We did that so we could have it paid off before we went! How exciting!

It was more money because it was two rooms...not one at a moderate. I am very excited that you are all booked! Congrats! you are going to have such a nice xmas next year. Now figure out how you can fit me in your suitcase so I can go too. I'd much rather be at WDW that time of year than at work..lol

Kids are all excited as well! I was lucky enough to take off I am self employeed so I can pull that off with no real problem.

The kids want to start planning what we are going to do already. Mickeys Christmas is on there plans. When I said you can drink all th ehot choc you want and eat all the cookies you want they decided they were in for that! I see BIG STOMACHE ACHES COMING.

if we could bring wrapped xmas gifts we could of done that Dana,but now no wrapped gifts so not sure how to pull that off~heehee.

I have my Passporter so now we can get cracking I have 7 months before I hit 180 day reservation mark not much time there:)

We requsted Alligator Bayou to be at so maybe we will luck out and get that location as well.

I am sure my ML will be really annoyed we will not be around for Xmas next year but who cares we will be at WDW what more could you ask for! :)

hey,

Part of the fun of a trip to wdw is the planing...I had ours all planned for the 11 days we were there, we got there, and tried to follow the plan, but changed so many things, which made it even better.

Plan, but be flexible. its the surprises that make the trip....like us going to typhoon lagoon in 12/15/06...there was about 30 people in the whole park, we didnt plan it, we just decieded to go the day before and it turned out to be one of our top 10 experiences of the trip.....awesome, cold but awesome!

Enjoy the ride!

Karen.....who is now planning her 2010 trip [ 20th wedding aniversary trip]to hawaii, disneyland, wdw , new york, london, singapore and a 4 day disney cruise with husband in tow this time....fingers crossed!
