Hippity Hoppity Resort Hopping
We just booked our stays at 3 different DVC resorts for our trip coming up over the week before Easter. We were were booked originally to split our week at the BCV and then go over to WLV but we will actually be arriving two nights earlier than what we had planned for!
The BCV had no available studios those 2 nights (big surprise) so instead we decided to book the first 2 nights at OKW, then our 4 nights at BCV, and finally our last 3 nights at WLV. Out of the 3 different resorts BCV is the only one we haven't stayed at so I'm excited to be spending the most nights there. And we've always loved OKW but usually stay there during the off-season so I'm curious if it will still seem as quiet and relaxing as we're used to it being. I hope 3 different resorts won't be too big of a hassle for us just b/c of the time it takes to move, but we're definitely looking forward to getting to see all of them b/c they're each so fun and unique. Wooohoooo! I'm officially double-digit dancing!!! ![]()

Re: Hippity Hoppity Resort Hopping
I did some resort hopping at DLP. I had originally booked the Santa Fe onsite at DLP, but at the last minute, I had to add on another hotel. I added the Kyraid Hotel off-site. The hotels were nice, but on afterthought, I would have probably extended by Santa Fe reservation to another night. Hopping isn't the bad part. Dragging around your luggage is the bad part!

Yup, I think we'll be keeping as much in the suitcase as possible on this trip. I'll agree, hopping isn't so bad, it's carrying around the luggage that's a pain.
We're now on a waiting list for the BCV for the first two nights, which could mean one less pack-up and unpack if we could get in instead of staying those nights at OKW but we'll see.

I wouldn't even unpack on the first 2 nights. I've done the 2 jumps in one week before and while bell services makes it quite easy, the packing/unpacking can be a real pain in the back-side. But, you shouldn't have to lug anything at all. Even the Values will pick up and drop off bags at your room.

Re: Hippity Hoppity Resort Hopping
We just did 4 resorts in 13 days. It isn't too bad. We spent 2 nights at Pop. Then, Disney moved our bags to BCV. We stayed there for 5 nights and loved it. Then, we had to move ourselves to Hard Rock where we stayed for 5 nights. Then, we spent one night at the Renaissance at the Airport. It can be done if you don't mind living out of your suitcase, or unpacking and packing again.

Re: Hippity Hoppity Resort Hopping
hey
we did 6 nights POR and then 6 nights contemporary......god i miss the contemporary.....sorrry...... anyway, just pack your gear, call bell services, they come, they tag, they take and your off to your next one. We went straight from POR to contemporary, minus our bags, checked in at 10am, went to MK, back at lunch and as if by magic our 4 bags had appeared in our room....... the only issue is, try to buy all your stuff at your last hop otherwise you are packing alot of disney stuff, although I just packed it all in one bag, sealed it and didnt open it till we were home in Australia....so no biggy really. next time I'm trying a few hotels in epcot area..ie boardwalk and then finishing at contemporary again......If you dont hop, you miss out on alot of stuff you'd normally not experience..... enjoy Karen
