Trip to the Grocery Store

We are staying at the Pop Century and have reserved a refrigerator. Last trip we used Tiffany's and stopped at the grocery store. We are thinking of using magical express, but will miss the grocery stop. A CM told us that you can give the front desk a grocery list and they will go to the store for you? Anyone heard of this?

You can fill out a grocery list and WDW will get it for you. Or just get a cab and go over to Publix Food Store. DW & I always stop by there when we need Groceries. The refrigerator are not that big. Don't buy alot of perishable items that need to in a refrigerator.

I had no idea Pop Century would shop for you! I thought only DVC would round up griceries for you. Do they charge a fee MJD?

Mowgli'smom, we used gardengrocer.com and had excellent service from them. They have a $10 fee (unless you spend over $200, I think) and I found their prices great compared to what I pay here. I couldn't have taken a cab roundtrip for the $10, so it was a great deal for my family. Ordering water only and paying the $10 fee would pay for itself in savings over park prices.

Oh! I'm sure there is a fee with the groceries. Thats why I always go to Publix's. If you don't have a vehicle and have to use a cab, one may wash out the other. Cab Fare or Fee....

They have a HESS right on the grounds. You can also stop there, they have almost everything....

I'd go with gardengrocer. We all know Disney overcharges. No secret there.

I think Garden Grocer is a great deal at $10. My time at Disney is prescious and it is worth way more than $10 for me not to have to spend the time it would take to go out and get the groceries (but don't tell Garden Grocer that). I'd much rather be in the pool relaxing or playing with the kids than out doing groceries. I can do that at home. ;)
