Question about Mousekeeping

If you stay in any of the dvc villas (not on points) do you get mousekeeping services everyday?

Yes, if you are not staying on points you will get daily Mousekeeping.

That's good to know. It just wouldn't be the same without the daily "towel characters" to look forward to.

We rented points for the first time this trip... I never even thought about mousekeeping..

Daisee, I have stayed at a DVC resort twice on points and to be honest we didn't miss Mousekeeping like I thought we would. One time we were in a 2 bedroom (so we had a washer & dryer in the room) with another family and last summer we stayed ina studio at SSR. We hung our towels and used them a couple of days and then while Nate was swimming I threw a load of laundry in. Laundry is free if you are staying on points and never crowded so it didn't take much time at all.

You get trash and clean towels on day 4 I think and then on day 7 (if you stay that long) you get a full cleaning. We've passed on the cleaning and just exchanged our used towels for clean ones.

we would not get mousekeeping daily. I think DH said we do have a washer/dryer so we should be fine. We would probably hang towels, etc. like you said. I love finding out all these things from you guys. It makes planning so much easier.

Just another person chiming in here. I rented points for a two bedroom this past October and never even noticed no mousekeeping.. I usually clean up the room every morning myself anyway. The washer/dryer really is nice. you can just throw a load of towels in first thing in the morning and throw them in the dryer later on. Worked out nice for us. What DVC are you staying at?

We are staying at OKW in a studio. Never been there but we have seen and heard good things. DH just corrected me as far as w/d goes. We do not actually have one in our studio but it is available.
