I was just on the Dis.com boards and found out that people are discovering they have had there DATES changed by 1 or 2 days OR they were at AKL and are now at WL ! .

someone found out when they made a ADR for a up coming trip and was in shock to say the least. others have there trip for later in year after summer and resorts where changed. they are claiming the computer has a glinch!

you may want to contact disnet or your travel agent to make sure all is good still. nothing worse then finding out when you get there your not suppose to have a room til tommorow AND you maybe at a diffrent RESORT TOO.

We actually called today to check on something and change an ADR. The CM said to my husband, so you're coming in August for 8 days? My DH said No, we're going in July for 10 days. He almost had a heart attack. I don't know what she was looking at, but everything is OK with our ressies.

Oh my Gosh! That is so terrible! We are DVC members I wonder if they too ar ehaving a hard time! I better give them a call. Thanks for the heads up!

This did happen to me in December. My reservation and my Christmas party tickets were both for the wrong day when I arrived. I even had the CM who was checking me in ask me if I had any proof that that was the day I was supposed to be there. I said to Bobo the Clown "I stand here in front of you". His reply? Yes, but do you have anything in writing? Now, I know I was very specific with the reservationist about the day being Friday, regardless of date. Lucky I was able to get thing straightened out, it would have been a wasted trip! And for the record, this was All Star Sports on Dec 15. but when I arrived, and also when i looked closely at the reservation conf I only got in the mail the day before, it said Dec 18.

Another strange thing. Every time I call to make a reservation, and there have been quite a few this past year, they ask if my last visit was on X, and every time X is wrong. Not just wrong, but really wrong.

I have my reservation in writing. I have my payment history in writing and twice that as I take my bank statement with me showing the money coming out....they got me once with claiming I didn't pay for a breakfast that I most certainly paid for. They will never get me twice. I am super, duper, OCd prepared for my trips. If they tell me that I am not at the resort when I get there even after I call 15 times before getting there to confirm (I call at least once a month to check on the resservation), I will throw a hissy fit to end all hissy fits..... This just goes back to my point in my packing thread.

CHECK YOUR RESERVATIONS MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE YOUR DEPARTURE DATE!!!!!!! Check once after your make them, every month after that, and then call two weeks before you go and then the day before. You can never check to many times...never!

Scary!!!!!!!!! Even though we have not made plans, depends when grandsons school year starts , they are in a battle over the year round school/versus traditonal, which we really like the year round, they have breaks around every 8-9 weeks, something like that. but will certainly keep this in the back of my mind.

In my own humble opinion - Disney is trying to grow too fast. After 9/11, business went way down, then there was the Eisner thing, now they're trying to get back on track and have bitten off more than they can chew. They've got a hundred different discounts, plans, buildings going on, etc - which are wonderful when they work - but they can't train staff fast enough to keep up with it.

When you're talking to a CM in Missouri (or Iowa, or possibly India) - who's never been to WDW and has no idea what she's really talking about - she's just been given one directive, which in the next hour is changed to another directive, things get totally messed up. Add technology (many of whom I'm sure are still training) and mistakes start happening at an alarming rate.

When you call WDW asking about ADRs and the CM has no idea what you're talking about - you've got to wonder....

I think it's time Disney slowed down and got things under control. Growth for them may be wonderful, but when people start having to panic because their reservations have been moved or accidently cancelled, you can't blame for for getting frustrated and angry. For most people a WDW trip is a big investment. People want, and deserve the security of knowing their plans aren't changing without them having a clue or getting nasty surprises when they arrive.

Okay! Good deal. I've got 10 days in a Grand Floridian suite. Conceirge, of course. Full dining package. 10-day PH pass. All billed to the credit card of a "Janice Gravelines," whoever that is.
