Please someone sell me on the idea...

I just told my Dh that I wanted to go back to WDW Feb 08

He looked at me like I had 8 eyeballs

He said what about choosing somewhere to go

I asked him but where there is no place but WDW and he wanted to go camping

So I came up with the idea of perhaps getting a RV or popup and staying at the FWcampground

Why did I come up with this idea??? I have no clue why! I HATE camping and I HATE the thought of not having Mickey soap

Please someone who has camped here PLEASE sell me on the idea of staying there. I checked it out on the website and it doesnt look too bad not ike camping. Anyone who may have stayed there or have pics PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me..

Sorry, I can't help. I'm allergic to camping--even at Disney World.

I have yet to stay on-site, so I'm not expert on the resorts I'm going to recommend. However, maybe you could compromise with a resort like Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge.

you could park him and the kids at FW and you can go to WL...it's close enough to them

amen sister. But if that's how she's gonna get him there, the only way, camping is a very good thing.

Cavey and tinkerbell know all about it. Hopefully they'll see this thread

Yes you are right. If it is the only way she can get him there, then camping it shall be. I am sure camping at Disney is unlike camping anywhere else.

I love me some camping!

But I cannot imagine camping at WDW... I would be so busy with all of the real fun!

But I think you should do it!

We did the RV thing when I was a child and stayed offsite. I have to say I prefer a resort to a campground any day. Now it was not FW and I was 12 but I do remember having to use the public bathing facilities because there were too many of us to all use the RV facility (YUCK!!!

hated every minute of it) Plus with the RV it was our only mode of transportation (nothing like driving around in an RV all week)

Now on the other hand I have several friends who have very nice 5th wheel trailers who stay at FW and they love it and so do their children. They have all stayed there mulitple times and it is now the only place they stay in WDW.
