Re: Help with requesting specific area for Poly

The best buildings to request are (and in this order) Tonga, Aotearoa and Niue. They are the closest to the Great ceremonial house (check in area etc.) Here is a great FAQ link for you with tons of information. It will tell you the best way to request etc. Hope this helps.

Actually Tonga is suites only so I would not request that. Aotearoa is not quite as close as Fiji. Niue is all smoking rooms but Rarotonga is right outside the doors to the Great Ceremonial House. Samoa is nice also and less than a minute walk. If you want a guarantee of a good location close to things consider doing concierge and you will be in the Hawaii longhouse with the concierge desk in that building along with the lounge.

Aloha

Steve -thanks for responding here. I was hoping that you would. I only stayed there the one time and in Niue. I was just reading off the page on the link I stuck in her thread here. That's the building that allears suggested as closest to the main areas.

No problem and by looking at the map I would have said Tonga also if I did not know it was suites. Niue use to be a great little longhouse in a good location. Unfortunately it is now all smoking so it is not as appealing to people unless they smoke.

All Ears is a great resource. Actually none of the longhouses are more than a 5 minute walk to the TTC but if someone has mobility issues I usually suggest Rarotonga or Samoa being kind of a direct shot from the GCH.

Aloha
