Contempary's Health Club?
Has anyone out there used it before? I
am looking for something close to SOG and that is just around the corner from there. I just want a light workout, sauna, whirlpool, shower and shave. They get $12.00 a day and $20.00 length of stay. Comments? I thank you kindly

Dana, I thought that the Poly shared the
health club with the Grand Floridian? I didn't see any details of one soley for the Poly. I had a sour CM last time at the GF and I would rather just not use that one.

I just talked to both the Contempary and
the GF, anyone on site may use either health club, The Poly uses the GF's and guest at both of them do not pay for it. Onsite people have a daily/length of stay option.

The bit about "sharing" the GF's gym is a little misleading (but in a good way for you).
The GF's gym is actually in a detached building (which it shares with the spa) which sits between the GF and the Poly. I think it's just before you come to the Wedding Pavilion (walking from GF). You could definitely walk there from Poly, and even consider that walk your warm-up.

Nokey, its a never ending battle, I need
to work my old butt off just to stay over weight!  On vacation I will keep itlight and hope the walking around WDW will not mean extra time at the gym when we get home!

I don't exactly have an easy time "getting" weight off, let along "keeping" it off, and I never leave a WDW vacation hungry, but I've still never come back weighing more than when I left.
The amount of walking is really more than you'd think. In fact, unless you're looking for resistance training, you might just want to walk around the 7 seas lagoon, and put the gym $ toward another Mickey Bar.
