Thanks bdavis for the community sendoff. I know you must be excited since there are so many of you going together. I'm so excited I can't stand it. The problem is, I thought this time would crawl by but I have so much to do, I feel like I'm on a deadline to finish my thesis in college and there isn't enough time. I'm so scatterbrained anyway i'll probably go off and leave the poor kids standing on the driveway (haha) much less remembering things like tickets, confirmation numbers, film and such. :nervous

I finish finals today, and then I can really commence the obsessive planning and packing ritual. It really is almost here, I can't wait to see the Florida Sunshine!

One more test, then i can relax for a few minutes...see you all there

May 10th-May 18th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can hardly contain myself at work!!!!!!!! When something starts to go wrong (which is usually pretty often)..... I just think in 9 days I will be at the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!!!!!

Hope all DC people will be wearing their royal blue ribbons. It would be cool to meet some of you!!!!

jewelmick. How on earth can you concentrate on finals at a time like this? I remember how I felt the last semester before receiving my undergraduate degree. Carrying 18 hours, a 2 yr old on my hip and 9 months pregnant with my now almost 5 yr old and the 70 pounds he brought with him. Wooohhoo what a flashback. Good luck on that last test. Disney is a just reward for your hard work.;)

Each post I read on this thread gets me more excited! I can't wait to get to O'Town...I sincerely hope to meet at least one fellow DCer...:)

In the event that anyone meets a DCer...make sure to take and post a picture. I think it would be fun to see who comes back with the most pictures with fellow DCers. Let me think about that...I may come up with a prize (Disney related of course) for the person who comes back with the most pictures with DCers. ;)

OK -
12 hours before leaving the Big Apple and heading to Florida and 3 days before heading to the Magic Kingdom. And I am about 89 percent packed. LOL. Took an extra day off to take care of last minute details that just keep on piling and piling on themselves, so here's to you pre-planners and packers.

I was reminded last night on the train of the less fortunate ones

:People who may never get to go there. People who have no idea of what it means to go there. People who would if they could but they can't so they won't.

Hopefully one day those who desire to will be able get a chance to enjoy it as much as we all do. Or even a fraction of it.

I'd better get packing. Here's hoping for a smooth trip for all.

Just ironed all my DH's Hawaiian shirts, I told him , "DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT WEARING THEM TILL WE GET TO DW." He just loves those shirts. I know I will probably have to press everything before he puts them on AGAIN!!!! Hope to see you all there!!! Don't forget your ribbons. Joe & I should have our guest of honor badges on also. Should be easy to spot. Hope to meet at least one of you!!!!
