I have to Iron because we live in Michigan, and most of the stuff we're taking to WDW has been packed away for 6 months.

I'm just running iron over REALLY wrinkled stuff, taking that spray stuff for later.....as good as it gets.

Using the ziplock bags to pack...almost done, expect for a few things that have to be laundered first.

Hope to see U there...

I have been packed for two weeks now. I am just so excited about going. I'm off from work today, have to work tomorrow and Friday, then off to WDW on Saturday! The excitement is growing!

I can't believe how many of us are going to be at DW. I think this is really great!!!

Suitcase is just about packed now. Just those last minute items you just can't pack till your ready to leave!!
Hope to see alot of you at the Poly on May 17th, or maybe even at the Parks!! You just never know!!!???:dazed JOANN:)

count me in May 19-25 DW, and 2 DK, Boy is 3 and girl is 1. We di the Platinum plan and hope it is well worth it. It is my wife and mine Anniv. We are at the GF and are eatting at Victoria & Albert's on the 24th. Will be 7 years of married that day. Hope all will have a good time when you are there.

How big does the blue ribbon have to be and where are you to wear it at.:) :) :) :) :)

We have less than two week to go!:D Guess what?:( WDW just changed their May parks schedules - some good, some not so good. Looks o.k. for our nights at the Swan. However, we are staying two nights at the Polynesian (garden concierge) for my DD's 13th birthday. Planned to watch the MK fireworks and the electrical water parade from the beach the first night and take advantage of e-ride night from 9 p.m. till midnight the second. The revised hours show the MK closing at 7 p.m. both nights we are at the Poly, which probably means e-ride night has also been canceled. :(

Once upon a time, one could depend on the WDW schedules and plan accordingly. :nooo: My DD was so looking forward to e-ride night for her birthday. If WDW is posting park hours so guests can plan their itinerary, make PS, and choose convenient resort locations - they are better off NOT posting hours that they later change. :cry:

Does anyone have any last minute suggestions for a nighttime celebration at WDW for a 13 year old girl?

We attended the luau last year and it was fantastic. I think going again so soon would be a letdown. :)

Our table was right up front near the stage. I was even one of the guests that was pulled up on stage to dance with the BIG guys! :nooo: It was such a fun time! I am usually so shy and introverted! I think my family was in shock!!! I don't know how the children managed to catch it all on film, since they were laughing so hard. :laugh

Hey,Angie,aren't you arriving on the 10th? My mother and I are going to epcot to see Paul Revere and the Raiders,and if i remember correctly,you intend to be checking in around 2 pm,right? I just might find myself in the Poly lobby at that time with my blue ribbons and Mickey Safari hat on!!! Hope to see you there.

Yes! we will be checking in on the 10th somewhere around that time. Although I'm sure my kids will be yanking me in 50 directions at once, I'm sure I would have a few minutes to visit with you. That would be exciting. buzzsmommy is arriving on the 11th. And I'm sure I will run into her at the pool and then we have the meet on the 17th. Will you be there for that ? It's neat to think about putting faces with all of my dc friends. Watch me go and not get to meet anyone! That would be my luck:(
Can someone tell me if I'm strange or if they go through this also?
I don't feel excited right now. I just feel stressed out about packing and irritated with everyone around me. Is this just pretrip jitters? I thought I'd be dancing through the streets by now. I hope I'm not like this through our whole vacation

I am sure everyone goes through pre-trip jitters,Angie. Don't worry about it;you'll be fine. I am pretty sure I'll be at the May 17th meet-and-greet,but it depends on if my mother wants to get up that early to go,because we have to be at my aunt's house in orlando that day and I don't know if she wants to go that early. However,I will definitely show up at the Poly around 2 o'clockish and hang around for a while on Saturday,even if my mother doesn't want to.
