All Star Resorts

Three trips to WDW and each stay at the ASR's were different.

First trip in '00 we were at ASMusic. Loved it! Great housekeeping and housekeepers. Second trip was in '02 at the the same resort. Little less tidy room keeping and the curtains had a huge, brown stain on them. It looked very digusting.

Third trip was in '05 at the ASMovies. Lousy housekeeping (not enough towels supplied/replaced) and while we always tip housekeeping by leaving bills under the "info card" and place it on top of the TV. The housekeeper also took our plastic cup full of accumulated loose change (it was nowhere near her tip).

This is no ones fault but should be noted. I REALLY wanted to stay at the ASMovies but never considered proximity to the buses. ASMusic is much better suited for this. It's quite a walk to the buses from Herbie.

I am very phobic about hotel cleanliness. I spray everything with Lysol before doing anything in the room. Upon entering the Disney rooms, I was there two days before I realized I had not used the Lysol. I felt that comfortable in the rooms (even the ones that were less than proficient).

hmm i guess go with you gut feeling!
Have you checked out POP Century?? I have stayed at the All Stars and I prefer POP over any of them..even though ASMo is very near and dear to my heart.

Try POP next time you go!

I have heard great things about the housekeeping, and the property is a lot newer so it's likely to look less.....used.

I have stayed at ASMo and loved it, but that was over 3 years ago so I'm sure things could have changed.

We have stayed at asmusic and pop and they were both about the same , we liked them both, I would have to say I liked pop a little better, very clean rooms and great housekeeping!!!!

I have stayed at ASmovies and this triop in May will be at AS sports. I think u should go with how u feel and whats open. Also welcome to MB!!!

I've heard so many nice things about the PoP we're staying there. We do love the All Star group of resorts, so trying another is ok with us.

I like PoP because its closer in to everything for me. Feels like I'm not a bus as long!
