I read this on another board but wasn't sure if it was posted here yet:

Toppings Bar removed from Electric Umbrella

The burger-toppings bars have been removed from the Electric Umbrella at Epcot. Burgers now come served predressed with shredded lettuce and a slice of tomato. New condiment counters have been installed and guests are free to pick up various sauces (BBQ, honey mustard, mayo, mustard, etc.), but all fresh vegetables have been removed.

I for one would miss the toppings bar, but you probably could ask for just about anything anyhow. i.e extra tomato.

Gosh I hope this isn't a precedent of things to come...I've never eaten at the Electric Umbrella, but the Toppings Bar is the best thing about the burgers at Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bill and Restaurantasaurus.

I know they already took away the cheese sauce at the fixins bars at Cosmic Rays and Pecos Bills. I wasn't crazy about Electric Umbrella as it is, so I probably won't go back there anyway.

They had cheese sauce like at Fuddrucker's? I don't use the fixin' bars myself, but for 6 bucks, they ought to leave them. Or are guests making veggie sandwiches for free?

I had no intention of ever going there again after my really bad lunch there in october....that just sealed the deal..lol

I know its been a while but we will not return there , actually we do not like those topping bars

. think about how many people go by there and sneeze and cough all over it etc etc.

Guess its the food business part of me coming out. I am sure it can happen back in the kitchen as well don't get me wrong.

Last time we at there my son got very sick

after that and was throwing up, we ended up spending time in the room while he threw up pickles and that he ate there.

I am sure i am over ruled ,thats just my 2 cents is all.
