New "Generic" Refillable Mug Design!
Allears.net is reporting a new design for refillable mugs- they are generic, and don't include the name of the resort. Speculating, maybe the design will change seasonally? Maybe Disney plans to enforce the "use during this trip" only? The report said it is at Pop and Saratoga Springs... We need first hand reports!

Double-rats. Oh well. I'm not sure we were planning to buy one anyway since neither of us drink soda. We're milk and water people. I imagine we'll request a fridge and buy milk to keep in there instead of the small cartons at breakfast.

awe man! well..i guess it's sort of the same thing but I love collecting different mugs from different resorts..oh well..i guess they will be "seasonal" mugs now..i did enjoy the resort themed ones.

The bad thing about collecting seasonal mugs is that I think most of us tend to go during the same time of year for our visits. I've been in May, August, Sept, an hopefully this year Oct.

CBR really hasn't changed there theme on the mugs the last few times we were there, only added different colors. DS uses them all the time for his water and ice. I guess we will find out when we go next month.

Well I am sad that they will not have the resort name on them. I like having one from the places that I visit....I totally understand why they are doing this however. It was only a matter of time.

That would be a bummer, but just another cost cutting measure by Disney, just like when they stopped having the names of the resorts on the napkins at each resort... just making it more generic.

I still miss the red forks, purple knives, blue spoons, and blue-green soup spoons they used to use before going to generic black.
But then we can get those colors at Party City for that taste-o-Disney.  |

Believe it or not - in all the visits - never bought these, but plan on doing it this time - my family drinks so much! But, wondering like others - any type of refillable mug good at any of the parks - like a "park hopper mug"???????/
