NEED TO KNOW BEST LONGHOUSE TO STAY IN AT POLYNESIAN - THANKS TO THE FOUR OF YOU WHO HELPED, BUT NEED MORE RESPONSE SINCE THE FOUR OF YOU SAID FOUR DIFFERENT SPOTS!!!!!!!! I KNOW I CAN'T GO WRONG ANYWHERE, BUT DAUGHTER WITH HEART DEFECT AND IS LIMITED IN WALKING (NEEDS WHEELCHAIR FOR LONG DISTANCES) - THANKS EVERYBODY!!! JUST PANICKING!! WANT TO CHECK IN AND REQUEST THE HOUSE YOU ALL SUGGEST! THANK YOU, THANK YOU - THANK YOU!!

sorry, I can't help - I am clueless! have you called and talked to a CM to see which is closest to what you are looking for? is it possible to call the resort directly?

Raratonga is the closest to the main building known as the Ceremonial House.

I stayed at Raratonga long house a few years. For convenience its great, right next to the GCH, close walk to the monorail and bus stop, and very close to the volcano and quiet pools.
Did you request a handicapped room? I just found this phone number on the Disney World web site under "Guest With Disabilities", Special Reservations Line: (407) 939-7807† - option 1. May be if you call this number they can help you out. By the way, you and your family will love the Polynesian, it is a fabulous resort.

I voted Tokelau as that is the only one I have had the pleasure to stay in. It was ok distance to everything but beautifully peaceful at the same time. Wherever you stay at the POLY is awesome though I promise you.

My advice is to stay in either Rarotonga or Somoa. I would call and tell The Polynesian that you have a special need as soon as possible. I would think that they would accomodate you. Maybe this will help with the panic. Janelle
