WL rate question

Am I mistaken or has there been a rate of 124.00 per night at the Wilderness Lodge ?

Am hoping for a rate around that dollar amount for next year.

The best I could do was $139 per night. That was with advertised Disney Visa discount. There may be other discounts for AP.

BTW.....We had originally reserved POFQ, but upgraded to WL around February. If we would have kept POFQ we could have upgraded when they announced the closing. We may have saved a few bucks.

There are a couple of $124 rates right now, for both AP holders and FL residents. Of course, that is for a standard room, and they are difficult to get. Worse case, you would have a woods view room and the cost would be $139 plus tax.

I had read on WDWIG.com that the WL has some junior suites that have a pull out couch in addition to the beds but I have not been able to find a rate for them anywhere - does anyone have any idea how much they go for? My trip was originally supposed to include just myself and 3 of my friends but now we might have another friend join us so we need accomodations for five people.

The rates for the jr. suites are as follows:

Value season: $370
Regular season: $415
Peak season: $470
Holiday season: $515

The problem is that these rooms are never included in any of the discounts, so you would be better off going with something else. It would be cheaper getting to woods view rooms rather than the jr. suite.

No, but we should see them within the next month or so. I would guess the discounts will be similar to what is currently available through July 3. Just keep watching the front page for any discounts.
