June FL Resident Rates ??

We are headed to WDW on June 1st. We are staying at Pt Orleans Riverside. We were thinking of upgrading to a deluxe. It is a short weekend away and we wont be in the room all that much. However, ds LOVED AKL and I was hoping to get a decent rate there. With the passholder rate we can get a concierge suite for $279. More then we wanted to spend knowing that we wont be in the room all that much. I noticed the resident rates were only listed until the end of May. Anyone remember if there are discounts for June with FL Resident rates? I cant recall. All we wanted was a standard or perhaps savannah room. Standard would be fine.

If it were just us I would consider the suite but the grandparents will be with us and I know they do not want to pay more for their room then they are paying at Pt Orleans. I considered paying the difference on both rooms but it would be over $600. Not worth it for just 2 nights.

Re: June FL Resident Rates ??

A couple things to keep in mind about concierge at any deluxe. They include access to the concierge lounge which offers a form of continetal breakfast in the morning, snacks during the day, some happy hour type finger food, and some sort of dessert, as well as beverages all day, beer and wine after certain hours. You can also use the concierge to help you get those difficult dining reservations and for trip planning (if you need help planning your trip, HA).
If there are June rates, I'd expect them to be similar to May.
